Hi all, as summer is here, I want to plan the "2nd Annual Bonaire Left Coast Dive!" (and Linnea I will make a better sign this year!

Anyway, I am thinking of 3 options:

1. Shaw's cove (or Cresent) in August. Hard part of this one is that conditions can change, and we may have to ditch the dive if the surf is too big.

2. Casino Point again, BUT this time, late saturday or sunday afternoon when all of the classes are gone...

3. Day boat dive...

Ok, who's game, and what do we want to do?

I'm game if I don't end up like Jake with my arm strapped into a frame in front of me. Right now I am having trouble doing anything that involves reaching with my left arm. I go to the doctor next week to try and get some tests done to see if surgery will be necessary/approved. I'd show up anyway just to visit. My preference is for Shaw's/Diver's/Crescent/Boat Canyon.

Linnea, I certainly hope you don't have to have surgery! I know that Roger and Karen H. that met us last year at the point were interested. They may still be on Bonaire...wait and see

Cynde...we just returned from Bonaire yesterday (early AM)...we are definately interested...let us know when and where. We already are experiencing PBD! Rog & Karen

oh, i just checked this. i hope you both had a great time! i will start checking into our options this week and let you all know what I come up with. it will definetly be in august or sept (no fair checking your equimpent in for service so you can't dive this time!)

My preference would be either casino point, late saturday afternoon (dive at 5) when all the students are gone, or a boat dive to catalina or possibly san clemente...do you have a preference? my only hold back for shaw's in laguna beach is that if the conditions arent' good, we won't get to dive...and if it is on a sat or sun morning, it will be filled with students. guess we could always go to crecent and swim out to seal rock...hmmm...so many options!
