Hi,I have emailed the Hosp. in Bonaire about disposing of needles for medication. No reply yet, and we're going to be there shortly. Does anyone know what the regulations are for their disposal on the Island?

I don't think the hospital reads their emails. I offered to bring down a bunch of scrubs last year and didn't hear squat from them (they ended up at the hospital in Lake Havasu, AZ). The hospital, clinic, or pharmacy should allow you to dispose of your needles. Otherwise just take down a plastic box down to put the used ones in and take them back home.

Try e-mailing to info@fundashonmaridal.org - that should produce better results...

Wire cutters - I used to snip my needles into a million tiny pieces and then break the glass syringe for good measure ;-)
