Stayed at Sand dollar with bro- and father- in - law. Townhome A10 - 2 bed 2 bath. It was PERFECT. All townhomes at Sand Dollar face the ocean and it great waking up in the morning viewing the ocean. We were there April 9th-16th. Cleaning service was excellent, AC in the rooms was nice and cold. The place was VERY quite. I think we saw 4 other groups the entire time. I hope it picks up for their sake. It looked like more people started to come in on the 16th, so I am sure we were there just on a slow week.
The place is perfect for people who like to dive at a great value, but if you like modern/W hotel type rooms, this is not the place. There are indeed brand new palces on the island now, but that is NOT why we go to Bonaire. Our room had EVERYTHING we needed. We did go to the hardware store and buy a nice little grill so we could cook out everynight down by the ocean on the patio. We shopped at warehouse and had chicken, pork, ribs everynight. The security at Sand dollar is excellent. The guard would come down and hang out with us while we cooked out and one time night divers were lost and came up on the "deck". He was right over there and escorted them to the dive shop to make sure they "belonged". We had a perfect trip, and we will stay at Sand Dollar on our next trip for sure, it was a perfect location.
Thanks to the owners of A10, what a great townhome there!

We were on Bonaire March 26 - April 9th. We stayed at Sand Dollar in A3, Patrick & Susan's studio condo. It's a great condo. They've installed a new A/C, but we didn't need to use it. It was cool enough to run just the ceiling fan. Their kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, spices, and a dishwasher. The double sinks are great. We used one for our dishes and one for Keith's camera.

They've added a wonderful stained glass piece on the wall between the sun porch and the room of a fish. If we left the front door open people would peak in and make comments about it. This was our second stay in A3. They'll be a 3rd, 4th, and many more to come.

The BDA dive shop was very convenient and the staff was outstanding. They were more than helpful, even though we were only shore diving. Our only problem was we couldn't find the frog fish Travis told us about.

Thank you Linda for your kind words about our condo. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you and Keith can return soon.
