Everything here is starting to bud out :) Spring for sure.....even the pollen is starting... how nice.....now if only the deer would leave my plants and bulbs alone I would be a happy lady.. dang deer.....chewed my hosta's right down... and OMG do they love tulips.. Oh well..could be worse, we could have a whole herd rather than just the three...
Hope everyone has a wonderful day,, Make the best of it, spread the joy and laugh a little or a lot.. does the heart good :)

Note to self: don't pee on plants in food garden

again this year.

Morning Tom, Freddie, Michelle and all.

Another day of warm temps, nice. T-storm to go through this morning, but sun will be making an appearance as day rolls on.

Michelle, stay safe, south has been getting some wild weather lately.

Son won the 800 meter run for his team yesterday, he was one happy trouper. And Mom was pretty proud too.

Packing here today as will be Florida bound soon. :)

Spring has sprung big time in our area along with pollen here too, Freddie. Woody, the neighborhood woodpecker thought it would be nice to wake me up at 5am this morning, didn't mind, got a lot of stuff done here at the range by getting a jump start on the day.

Happy Hump Day to All

Mornin' :) We have a minute or two of sunshine, then back to the storms. Freddie, I think the "girls" were in the side yard today. We have 5 who visit (chew up everything) on a regular basis. Oz went out and came right back! When I sent him out for the second time, he didn't want to go off the deck. He just can't figure out those big, brown dogs. Usually, they stay in the neighbor's yard and he's fine out there with them, but not this morning. I have used Dial soap before with good results. Just put chunks of it in the garden; they must not like the smell. Doesn't work for me right now though with all of the rain.

Best part of hump day is that it's yoga night too. So relaxing; mid-week stress reliever :)
Have a great day everyone; especially the Administrative Assistants out there.

Good Morning Everyone! :)

Gray skies have returned, but it's still feeling pretty tropical...slept through a wild storm overnight..more expected today, I believe...

Plan for my day, oil change and inspection, some housework and errands and brunch with a friend who's going to rescue me from waiting for the car...

Freddie, I iron as I go..if I had to iron all at once, the clothes would just get re-wrinkled in my world anyhow...

Happy Wednesday to all...and HUGS!

Happy Wednesday Morning!

Freddie, Tom, How about putting a bale of hay out for the deer? Think that would keep them away from your flowers?

Michelle, hope the weather calms down for you. Gheesh! Sounds like you had quite a show last night.

Debbie, pack light. It's hot here. Went from winter to 3 days of spring and directly to hot humid summer.

Judy, that's funny. I wonder if the dogs really think those are big brown dogs/deer. :)

Donna, good luck with all your chores today.

Just to let you know..my iron is a door stop. LOL!

Today is Administrative Professionals Day. Even though my official title is Development Specialist I am considered the Admin. here. Maybe I'll get taken to lunch today.

Lurk!

Ol W.H.N. uses an iron to make grilled sammiches.

Linda, one must be careful when trying to help deer as their digestive systems change with the seasons. Besides, I like to *** on the flowers, BEETS TOO for different reasons ahem, snort, sigh click

How about a garden for the deer then? One that you don't *** on. LOL!

Great idea for the iron. Does she use the steam function on those sammiches?

Linda, packing real light, love the heat! My new fav. store is now our LL Bean outlet store, they had the cutest tees.

Oh and Freddie, forget about ironing, just use Downy Wrinkle Release on your clothes. Gal told me about it as I so do not iron here if I can help it, and got some yesterday, NICE! Never gonna iron again, they come in travel size too, packing it in suitcase for our trip. Can get it at WalMart and Target.

Good Morning my friends. My Megan and little Violet are home, thank God. We are so fortunate to have both St. Christopher's and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in our backyard. Two amazing places.

Also, please say a prayer or two for my sister in law Janet. As I type, she is being operated on at Bethesda Naval Hospital for a brain aneurism. They brought Kevin back from Iraq. He just called me to explain how they are doing the surgery with a robotical device they insert from the groin and run it up to her brain. Pretty out there stuff. All this technology has stemmed from so many traumatic brain injuries from the war with IED's.

My family is taking a licking right now, but as always, we'll keep on ticking.

Morning, buddies. Spring is having a tough time getting in gear around here. Rain the first part of the seek, only in the 50's now. C'mon, now...this is California! We enjoyed the rain and wind from our fireplace equipped room in Big Sur last weekend, but I'm pretty done with working with wet feet!

I have a couple of hours of book work before heading out. I have an interesting work day, an odd repair that everybody hates to do, but that I have worked out a fix for. Must put the parts out right now...can't forget the parts....

Good afternoon, Peeps!

Jim - glad to hear Violet and Megan are home. Nothing scarier than having a newborn back in the hospital. Good vibes and prayers for Janet.

I've had my 5 yr old GDaughter here yesterday and today...... Fever, cough, and stuffy nose and ears. Some musinex, Tylenol, and TLC, and she was doing much better today when her Mom picked her up. Back to school for her tomorrow!

Hot hot and hot here - in the low 90's. Tomorrow is supposed to dip down in the 60's. Crazy weather all over.

water is now over the bottom step of our stairs to the lake. Princess said that this is possibly the highest she has ever seen it, if not the highest the highest since she was a kid and that guy with the big boat was looking for pairs of animals. -2{this is so going to hurt}

Grilled some burger steaks along with portabellas that I stuffed with sun dried tomatoes and Ch-Ch-Ch-Cheddah. Don't know now why I burnt the beef, those shrooms were awesome.
Sun is beautiful but, the wind is shifting and weather forecasters are calling for more rain. Oh joy!!!

Hi all :)

Really haven't been MIA...just been working midnights since we got home from Charleston and been too exhausted to even think about posting! Been lurking here and there.

Jim, glad that Little Violet is home! Prayers for your SIL. Please keep us updated.

Had a very nice afternoon with a special lady :) We are going to figure out summer dive plans soon! I need to get in the water and since it won't be in Bon this year, Long Island waters will be just perfect :) Especially with my great guide!

We took the Yukon in for a check-up by our mechanic who found that a fuel injector needed replacing. She is running perfectly now! AND for much cheaper than what the dealer said!

The twins are in a ballet performance of Cinderella this weekend and have practice every afternoon this week. That is certainly keeping me hopping! We just get home and off we go again! Thank goodness the weather is nicer. We brought the southern warmth home with us :)

Hugs to all :)
