Good Morning BT!!

Tax day here in the USA...does anyone know why they changed it this year??

Mine were done a while back...refund already received and spent.. :)

Did well bargain-wise shopping yesterday....
Wish the winter-like temps would go away...
Right now, no rain...fingers crossed!

Hugs to all and Happy Monday!

Morning BT!

Donna, they changed the date from the 15th to the 18th as the 15th was a government holiday. Remember when CB posted it was Emancipation Day last week? That's the reason, official holiday in DC. See here: http://money.cnn.com/2011/01/04/pf/taxes/tax_deadline_extended/index.htm

Good Morning BT Buddies.
BH, my lottery retirement plan failed, too. It would have helped if I had bought one.
Debbie, what have you been up to? Haven't seen you here much.
Donna, Glad you did well in the bargain department this weekend.

The only shopping I did this weekend was groceries and gas. I about passed out when I saw the total on both. Whew!

Another beautiful day here. 60 degrees this morning for my run and sunshine today.

Morning Everyone! We had a great weekend with friends and relaxing at home. Gearing up for Easter; baking my Grandma's lamb cakes for the families and Easter brunch together. We're in for rain all week, so we're hoping for a good weekend. Got my bc back for the trip; need to think about packing. Three more weeks :) :) :)

Bill, put gas in son's car yesterday, regular gas was $3.72 here in south Jersey. Don't know about diesel, don't use it. Just keeps going up all I know. My car took $70 to fill last week, eek!

Linda, been fighting this darn sinus infection, day six, meds are helping, just trying to get all the congestion to go away now. PITA, but starting to join the living again. Was a doozy.

Nice weather here today, food shopping and then hopefully will get some time outside in the gardens. Going to hit 65 degrees, maybe 68 today and even got some sun power. Nice! Got some bison steaks for the barbee later.

BH, Keep trying on that lottery retirement, I try it at least once a week too!

Enjoy your Monday everyone!

That is a great 'Cheer you up' video, Linda!! :)

Gas prices.... I had to work a conversion, but your price now, compared to ours is a bargoon!!!
If diesel is about the same, or lower, I'm gonna be bringin my Truck down in a month!!!

Our prices started rising drastically Friday, and continue to rise and for no good reason!!!
Today, our cost would be at, or over CAN $5.10 per US Gallon and some stations already at CAN $6.32!!!

Hope this hasn't spoiled anyone's day...... just sayin!! :) :)

:) Bill :)

Morning BT ♥♥:)♥♥

A whole change of weather here... back to the 60's and overcast but that's okay, especially considering the poor folks in North Carolina. Many prayers up for those who now have to rebuild and/or have lost loved ones. I didn't realize so many had been killed.

Gas prices.... I paid $4.33 for the middle-of-the-pump one last week and they said on the news that it's gone up a penny a day for the last 10 days. It's such BS that our economy is being manipulated by speculators.

Fortunately for me, my $80 tank will last 5-6 weeks. Of course by then the price should be up over $5/gallon.

Hope you nip that sinus carp in the bud STAT Debbie.

Happy Monday everyone!

Morning, Buddies! Boom, we have you weather change here, too. It's supposed to brighten up again tomorrow. I hope so. Eric has two more days of the Buildathon, then we are taking a few days and giving Ragged point a try. Have to go to Paso Robles and then north to get there...Hwy 1 is closed again...

Linda, nice to talk to you yesterday! And it will be good to actually see you in May...

Afternoon, Diane & Bea, Bill.

Bill, yes I have to admit that we have better fuel prices here. Still bites a big one, but I will have to plan better when I drive. Combine chores/trips to save $, fuel and time.

Just got my CPR/AED and First Aid books for my classes this Thursday.

I'm starving. Let's have some LUNCH! :)

Yogurt and berry time here, Linda.

I paid $4.15 this weekend. I know it's not as much as other countries pay, but I fill up every other day. When my most beloved Escape gives up the ghost, I see a Prius in my future...

Tara, Wow 5/6 weeks per tank. Either you don't go far or you have a huge tank.
CB, I enjoyed our talk yesterday, too, and will enjoy meeting my BT friends in May.

Pedestrian Paradise? Good for you Tara.
If I didn't have to drive 20 miles to and from work I might get one of these.

Diving is spectacular. We found and killed 7 lionfish today. One was pretty big. Aquawoman is out on the 2:00 dive boat. I'm watching porn and looking at BT. :)

Good Afternoon Kids!!!!:)

GAS PRICES!!! That's just scary. But this time coming back from FL, I only used just over a quarter tank. So, what I have left will last til next time I head down there. I don't go anywhere up here.

BUT.....

Yesterday G actually had a day off. So, we took the pups to the pet store and got stuff for all of them, even Henry!!:)
Then we drove to Fernandina Beach, FL. and took the dogs to the ocean. This time there was just too much cold wind for Rita. She was NOT liking the water. But, Calypso made me proud!! He's so afraid of everything, but he was draggin' G out there in the water and chasing birds!!!! Such a good boy!!!!:)

I have lost my phone, so it's been a quiet day here today. Hopefully I left it in the van yesterday....I've torn this house apart and even looked in the yard...So, it's a nice quiet day!!!:)

Getting ready to watch "Casper"!!! That has always been one of my kids faves!!!:)

F'n HEARTS to all.

Happy Afternoon Everyone...

Out early today because the doc's home preparing for his Seder tonight...
Happy Passover

anywhooo...Debbie B...feel better quick!

I'm tired...still didn't sleep all that well...tonight I have a Candidate's Night thingy to go to...at least being home early I get a break in between...I also wonder why people plans these things on what is a Holiday for many people!

Also...does everyone know that postage went up effective today!!??...first ounce is still the same, but the additional ounces are now 20 cents instead of 17 cents...on tax day...great timing!

And...gas is $3.79 here..sounds like a bargain from what I'm seeing from others!! But it still s*cks!

Pietri, good thing it's a small island and you don't have to drive too far to get somewhere!!!! That's outrageous!!!!

Donna, I didn't even get a nap today. Which I do everyday....I should live in Mexico and have my Siesta EVERYDAY!!! Anyhow, just been looking for that dang phone! I bet G has it at work!!! Nice.

I understand, Pegi...hope you find it!

Seriously, that gas price is awful! Last time I asked Amanda she said it was about $4.46 in Guam....but that's also a small island, not quite as small, but small..

Goodnight and hugs to all!! ♥
