How long does it take to get water and electricity connected from initial request. Our apartment is scheduled for completion by the end of March and we are hoping to come down for 2-3 weeks in April. The goal was to spending some nights in our unit.Do you think this is possible given the time frame?

generally the electric and water are already connected or else they could not be built since they need water and power to do the construction. Are you part of a large project? If so the builder should have taken care of it.

I have confirmed with the contractor that individual units will have to contact WEB for connections (these is a tap out front of the apartments). So it sounds like it would be similar to what someone with a single family home would go through. How long does it take to get service to a house?

Everett..we went through the same thing at Bellevue.

As Michael indicated, electric & water is already fed to the building.. However you have to ascertain if separate meters have been installed to measure the electric & water usage for each unit. Once that's done, a listing of all the owners & their respective meter numbers should be sent to WEB so individual acct numbers can be assigned. Once that's completed then arrangements should be made with the local bank to automatically pay the charges from your account.

If I remember correctly we did a lot of running back and forth between the condo, WEB & our bank which is MCB. Good luck.
