As of now are there any concrete trucks on the island or is the concrete all hand mixed?

Are there any drill rigs on island that can drill 30 to 50 meters vertically?

Do you know of a electrician who does low voltage work, such as 12/24/48 volts.

thanks

Yes, there are concrete trucks, even though hand-mixing is surprisingly popular.

50 meters might be a stretch, but there are well-drillers. Some folks in the center of the island rely on well water.

I don't know of an electrician that won't do low-voltage work. People don't tend to specialize so much here. What are you planning on having done?

Thanks Kevin

I'm looking at the possibility of building a low voltage, well insulated home with solar air conditioning.

an Insulated concrete form home with vertical shafts for solar air conditioning would use a whole bunch less electricity.

Low voltage efficiency has come a long ways in the last 10 years. They build some units for apartment buildings.

Have you ever heard of any geological reports on the sub soils

One public answer: soil varies by lot. In some places building is nearly as simple as sweeping the rocks with a broom and pouring the slab. Other places you have to work a bit more like an American is used to: dig trenches, compact, then pour footings, fill, and then a slab.
